Overview

The Senior HR Analyst at North Oil Company (NOC) is responsible for delivering advanced workforce analytics and providing insightful, data-driven recommendations across essential Human Resources domains. This role involves independently analyzing complex workforce patterns, detecting organizational risks, and converting data insights into actionable strategies that enhance workforce planning, compensation governance, and HR operational effectiveness at NOC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify inconsistencies and gaps in workforce structure, position data, and job architecture by rigorously assessing information against approved organizational design and grading criteria; propose corrective actions to ensure data accuracy and integrity within HR systems and reports.
  • Conduct detailed analyses of workforce costs and compensation trends, investigating variances and pay equity issues to support cost management, fair compensation, and strategic decision-making.
  • Develop workforce planning and headcount forecasting in partnership with HR Business Partners and relevant departments; identify gaps, risks, and budget alignment challenges and provide strategic recommendations to address organizational objectives.
  • Create and refine HR system reporting tools and analytical dashboards, addressing data quality issues and enhancing reporting formats to improve decision support and data reliability.
  • Evaluate HR governance and compliance requirements against current reporting practices, identifying discrepancies and devising improvements to ensure accuracy, audit readiness, and transparency.
  • Analyze HR aspects of organizational projects and workforce initiatives, assessing project scopes, potential risks, dependencies, and offering analytical insights to guide effective HR project planning and execution.
  • Gather and interpret diverse data sources to detect trends, risks, and insights that facilitate improved decision-making and enhance reporting quality.
  • Continuously refine reporting structures and analytical summaries to enhance their clarity, precision, and relevance for business intelligence.
  • Optimize usage of HR systems, reporting platforms, and analytical tools to improve data handling, reporting efficiency, and analytical capabilities across workflows.
  • Engage with stakeholders to comprehend their informational requirements and deliver relevant analyses that support operational and strategic decisions.
  • Investigate root causes of issues related to data quality, reporting errors, and process gaps, implementing corrective measures to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Promote enhancements in data management processes, reporting frameworks, and analytic workflows by identifying opportunities for improvement and leading implementation of solutions.
  • Contribute to fostering a culture of safety, sustainability, and ongoing improvement in alignment with NOC values, demonstrating ethical behavior, accountability, and technical excellence.
  • Support NOC's nationalization initiatives through knowledge sharing, collaboration with Qatari nationals, and participation in developmental programs.

Educational Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related area is required.

Experience

  • A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in HR analytics, workforce planning, compensation analysis, HR systems, or equivalent analytical positions within the oil and gas sector.
  • Proven experience in technical coordination, mentoring peers, or facilitating knowledge transfer within teams without direct managerial responsibilities.
