Position Overview
The Senior Graphic Designer role involves independently crafting impactful design concepts and delivering high-quality, brand-aligned creative solutions. This position focuses primarily on projects in Perth while also supporting campaigns in Melbourne and Sydney. Responsibilities include taking briefs from various business units, developing concepts, presenting to stakeholders, and producing final artwork for diverse marketing materials such as premium VIP pieces, cross-property initiatives, and above-the-line advertising.
Key Responsibilities
- Create exceptional visual designs managing the entire process from idea generation to final artwork for both print and digital assets.
- Lead assigned portfolios by providing design direction and brand expertise.
- Support the Head Designer with maintaining and organizing systems, asset management, image libraries, font licensing, templates, file structures, naming, and job tracking conventions.
- Contribute to fostering a positive, high-performing team environment through effective communication and relationship building.
- Continuously research and stay informed about industry trends, design innovations, technologies, and software advancements.
Candidate Profile
- Holds a degree or diploma in Graphic Design with at least 8 years of professional experience.
- Highly creative with exceptional skills in conceptualizing designs and producing flawless finished art.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Bridge, and Acrobat.
- Knowledgeable in advanced printing techniques such as spot colors, varnishes, foils, die lines, embossing, folds, and diverse paper stocks.
- Experienced with branding and adhering to established style guides.
- Adept at working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
