Senior Full Stack/AI Agents Engineer

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced engineer to design and develop next-generation applications powered by AI agents within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. This position involves end-to-end ownership of features, encompassing everything from creating responsive front-end interfaces to scalable back-end services and managing agent orchestration layers. The role requires combining solid full stack expertise with advanced agentic AI development.

Responsibilities

• Develop full stack, production-ready applications based on AI agents and multi-agent frameworks.
• Create modern and responsive web user interfaces that support conversational interactions, real-time streaming of agent outputs, and dashboards for agent monitoring.
• Build robust back-end services and APIs using Python (FastAPI) to enable communication among agents and between agents and systems.
• Design and implement agentic workflows utilizing frameworks such as Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, LangChain/LangGraph, or the Azure AI Agent Service.
• Integrate large language models (LLMs) via Azure OpenAI Service, incorporating prompt engineering, function and tool invocation, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines.
• Develop chunking and indexing strategies for RAG pipelines, including semantic chunking, hybrid search, and re-ranking to enhance retrieval accuracy.
• Maintain evaluation pipelines for LLM and agent outputs using tools like RAGAS, promptfoo, or custom frameworks, measuring precision, relevance, and dependability.
• Architect cloud-native solutions using Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service, Container Apps, Cosmos DB, and Azure AI Search, covering data modeling for both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Implement secure, observable, and cost-effective systems leveraging Azure Monitor, Key Vault, Entra ID, and CI/CD workflows with infrastructure-as-code.

Requirements

• Minimum of eight years’ experience in full stack engineering, including at least three years focused on the Azure platform.
• Proficient back-end developer in Python with a strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience constructing applications powered by LLMs and using agent frameworks such as Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, or LangGraph.
• Expertise in front-end technologies including modern frameworks, typed JavaScript, semantic HTML/CSS, with a focus on creating responsive and accessible user interfaces.
• Familiarity with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, and vector databases, including Azure AI Search and Cosmos DB vector search capabilities.
• Demonstrated knowledge of RAG architectures, embeddings, chunking and indexing workflows, prompt orchestration, and invoking functions or tools within AI pipelines.
• Experience developing evaluation frameworks for LLM and agent outputs, including defining quality metrics for AI-driven systems.
• Expertise in designing complete agentic architectures, covering multi-agent orchestration, defining tool and agent boundaries, along with fallback and error-handling mechanisms.
• Experience with real-time streaming technologies such as WebSockets, SignalR, or Server-Sent Events (SSE) to deliver AI/agent responses promptly.
• In-depth understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth2, Entra ID) and practices related to DevOps such as continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), infrastructure as code, and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
