Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to spearhead the creation and enhancement of user-facing elements on our marketplace platform. Based onsite in Kew, Victoria, you'll transform product and UX design inputs into high-quality, maintainable frontend code. Collaborating closely with designers and backend developers, you'll ensure the platform delivers a seamless and responsive user experience for makers, rights holders, and fans alike.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop reusable UI components and optimize application performance.
• Enhance accessibility standards and ensure consistent visual and interaction design across the platform.
• Engage in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.
• Establish and promote best practices regarding testing, documentation, and deployment.
• Provide mentorship to fellow developers and identify frontend stack improvements.
• Support ongoing product iteration within a dynamic environment.

Required Qualifications

• Proficient in modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or equivalents with component-based architecture.
• Skilled in responsive web design for cross-browser, accessible, and mobile-optimized interfaces.
• Strong foundation in web and software development fundamentals including version control, testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Working knowledge of backend development concepts and APIs to effectively integrate frontend components.
• Expertise in HTML, CSS, and ES6+ JavaScript, including familiarity with build tools like Webpack or Vite.
• Experience collaborating within product teams and delivering features from start to finish.
• Ability to write clean, well-documented code and lead constructive code reviews.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
• Prior experience with marketplace, e-commerce, or creator-centric platforms is advantageous.
