Senior Front-End Software Engineer

Role Summary

We are seeking seasoned frontend developers (m/f/d) to design user interfaces and proof of concepts within web-based projects for our clients. The role centers on delivering complete front-end applications for mobile and desktop platforms, prioritizing an outstanding user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop entire front-end applications.
• Write tested, precise, and well-documented code in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Collaborate closely with backend team members, and possibly take on backend programming if qualified.
• Integrate and communicate with external web services.
• Ensure high performance of applications on both mobile devices and desktops.

Team Collaboration

You will work together with DevOps engineers, backend specialists, UX designers, product owners, and clients throughout projects.

Qualifications

• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML5, and various APIs and libraries such as React.
• Experience with RESTful services, including development and integration.
• Solid understanding of the interplay between platforms, databases, APIs, caching layers, proxies, and other system services.
• Familiarity with deployment infrastructure setup, e.g., deployd or other Node.js APIs.
• Knowledge of frontend testing methods and tools.
• Strong and professional communication skills.
• Good command of the German language.
