OnFire Consulting Ltd is a New Zealand-owned specialist fire engineering consultancy based in Parnell, Auckland. Key Responsibilities
The Senior Fire Engineer will support the Associate Principal Fire Engineer in the Auckland office by overseeing and mentoring junior engineers and managing consulting fire engineering projects throughout all stages, from initial concept design to construction monitoring.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in fire engineering and practical experience in performance-based fire engineering consulting, preferably within New Zealand or similar international contexts. Proficiency with fire engineering simulation tools such as FDS (Fire Dynamics Simulator), Pathfinder, and PyroSim is essential. While Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status is advantageous, candidates nearing CPEng qualification are also encouraged to apply. Strong oral and written communication abilities are necessary.
