Senior Façade / GFRC BIM Coordinator

Role Overview

Sana Al Jazira Co. Ltd. is actively seeking a seasoned Senior Façade / GFRC BIM Coordinator for a full-time position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, specifically for the Qiddiya project. Immediate joining is required. The coordinator will spearhead the BIM modeling and coordination aspects related to GFRC and façade scopes, oversee the preparation and management of shop drawing submissions, synchronize efforts across consultants and contractors, and guarantee that authorized BIM data is accurately transitioned to fabrication and field teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the creation and coordination of detailed GFRC/façade BIM models utilizing Autodesk Revit.
• Prepare and control coordinated GFRC shop drawing sets.
• Design panel arrangements including numbering, elevations, sections, and intricate drawings.
• Collaborate with architectural, structural, steel, MEP, and other disciplines to coordinate façade/GFRC works.
• Analyze IFC drawings, design models, and contract details to detect clashes, missing information, and interface challenges.
• Oversee BIM coordination and clash detection through tools such as Revit and Navisworks.
• Represent the GFRC/façade scope in BIM and technical coordination meetings.
• Manage coordination of panel interfaces, joints, openings, support systems, backing frameworks, and adjoining finishes.
• Review feedback from consultants and main contractors, managing revisions until final approval.
• Prepare and manage Requests for Information (RFIs) when design details are incomplete or contradictory.
• Coordinate approved BIM models and shop drawings with engineering, fabrication, and installation teams.
• Maintain BIM model integrity, track revisions, and manage documentation for drawings and submittals.
• Ensure BIM models and shop drawings are practical and feasible for fabrication and installation purposes.

Candidate Qualifications

• A minimum of seven years of professional experience with BIM and Autodesk Revit is essential.
• Proven hands-on expertise in Revit is mandatory.
• Experience with façade projects, particularly involving GFRC/GRC, precast, or architectural cladding, is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated capacity in preparing and coordinating façade shop drawings derived from BIM models.
• Familiarity with Navisworks and AutoCAD is required.
• Solid understanding of façade systems, panelization, interfaces, and supporting structural elements.
• Experience in coordinating interdisciplinary work among architecture, structural, steel, and MEP fields.
• Capability to independently lead BIM coordination meetings and manage comments from consultants.
• Exceptional technical communication and coordination skills.
• Current residence in Riyadh is mandatory, as is immediate availability to join.
• Candidates lacking substantial hands-on Revit and façade BIM coordination expertise will not be considered.
