Candidate Profile

  • Possess a tertiary qualification or trade experience in Construction, Quantity Surveying, or related fields.
  • Extensive experience in commercial construction estimating, preferably in a Senior Estimator capacity.
  • Proven track record preparing successful tenders for projects up to $20 million in value.
  • Familiarity with multiple procurement models including Early Contractor Involvement (ECI), Lump Sum, Design & Construct, and Construction Management.

  • Proficient in Cubit and Cubit Select estimating software.
  • Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and labor costings.
  • Strong commercial insight to assess project risks and create mitigation approaches.

  • Excellent communication abilities, confident in building rapport with subcontractors, clients, and internal teams.
  • Strong organizational skills for managing multiple tenders under tight deadlines.
  • Team-oriented with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.
