Senior Electronics Engineer

Role Overview

As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you will lead and contribute to engineering projects focusing on Newness levels 2-3, where new designs are based on existing knowledge or established rules. This role entails managing budgets, solving complex technical problems, ensuring excellent communication both internally and with customers, and promoting technical knowledge sharing across teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate commitment to project budgets by optimizing resources and applying cost-effective engineering practices.
• Lead technical execution of challenging engineering projects, especially those involving moderate new design concepts.
• Act as a subject matter expert for critical technical problem solving using standardized methodologies such as QRQC to find root causes and implement solutions.
• Communicate complex technical details clearly to both internal teams and external customers.
• Share technical expertise and best practices proactively across teams and divisions.

Competency Development

• Provide coaching and mentoring to less experienced engineers to help develop their skills and knowledge.
• Contribute to the creation, refinement, and validation of design standards applicable to Newness levels 2-3, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and company objectives.

Process and Innovation

• Participate actively in executing the digitalization roadmap for the discipline to improve and automate processes.
• Analyze outcomes from problem-solving efforts to identify systemic issues and recommend enhancements to current methodologies.
• Innovate by suggesting and developing new solutions based on existing technologies and methods.
• Identify inventive ideas with potential for patenting and engage in the intellectual property filing process.

Collaboration and Influence

• Work collaboratively with professionals from other engineering disciplines and stakeholders to ensure integrated and smooth project delivery.
