Role Overview
We are seeking a highly adept Senior DevOps Engineer whose core focus will be the automation, scalability, and security of our technology infrastructure. This position demands designing, executing, and managing CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, and continuous monitoring systems to elevate system reliability and deployment efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, deploy, and sustain CI/CD workflows leveraging Kubernetes for seamless, automated application deployment and testing.
- Oversee and fine-tune cloud resources primarily on AWS or Google Cloud platforms.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to enable consistent provisioning.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack to ensure optimal system visibility and security.
- Automate provisioning, scaling, and configuration to maintain high availability and performance.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and security teams to guarantee secure and scalable deployment pipelines.
- Diagnose and resolve infrastructure and deployment challenges quickly to reduce downtime.
- Enhance cloud and container security by adopting best security practices and compliance measures.
- Manage cloud expenditure by optimizing resource usage and cost efficiency.
- Guide and mentor junior DevOps team members, sharing knowledge and promoting best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum four years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related fields.
- Proficiency with major cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Skilled in containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging frameworks including Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Datadog.
- Strong scripting capabilities in languages such as Bash, Python, or Go.
- Deep understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and compliance standards pertinent to cloud infrastructures.
