Asakta Electronics and Communications Private Limited (AECPL) is a smart governance company that delivers advanced technological solutions for the energy sector to various government organizations throughout India. The company leverages the expertise of its partners, Pixelvide and Shirdi Sai Electricals Limited (SSE), the latter a leading manufacturer and EPC contractor specializing in distribution transformers in India.
Role and Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain on-premises infrastructure based on Ubuntu Linux.
- Support the management and optimization of cloud resources hosted on AWS.
- Deploy, administer, and monitor containerized applications using Kubernetes technology.
- Design, develop, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for diverse deployment environments.
- Continuously monitor system performance to guarantee high availability and reliability.
- Address system incidents promptly and perform root cause analyses to prevent recurrence.
- Create automation tools and scripts using programming languages such as Python, Go, and Bash to simplify repetitive tasks.
- Collaborate closely with software development teams and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth application deployments.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices by utilizing Terraform for configuration management.
- Maintain and enhance version control workflows with Git to support collaborative development efforts.
- Ensure system security and regulatory compliance through secure CI/CD pipelines, effective secret management, and vulnerability assessments.
- Manage cost control, auto-scaling, and performance tuning within cloud infrastructure setups.
Candidate Profile and Preferred Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems, particularly Ubuntu.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services, including EC2, S3, IAM, and VPC components.
- Proficient in Kubernetes orchestration and container technologies such as Docker.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD workflows using tools like GitLab CI and Jenkins.
- Strong proficiency in Git for source control and collaborative development practices.
- Familiar with Infrastructure as Code concepts and tools, especially Terraform.
- Skilled in scripting languages, with an emphasis on Bash and Python.
- Understanding of event-driven system architectures and knowledge of message brokers such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Working experience in networking principles, load balancing techniques, and DNS configuration management.
- Ability to integrate quality assurance automation processes within CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid grasp of fundamental DevOps methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent analytical skills combined with strong problem-solving capabilities.
