About the Role
Join OMP as a Senior DevOps Engineer and contribute to revolutionizing supply chain planning with innovative software and services. This position emphasizes balancing technological stability with pioneering cloud advancements, all within a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Automate deployment for our software solutions, collaborating daily with software engineers, product managers, and ICT professionals.
- Develop and maintain internal tooling to support global development and QA teams.
- Take ownership across software development lifecycle stages including analysis, architecture, coding, and maintenance.
- Continuously improve CI/CD pipelines for efficient, reliable software delivery utilizing expertise in Azure DevOps.
- Maintain and support infrastructure components such as continuous integration systems, release and build management, package management, containerization, and orchestration.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and clear bottlenecks ensuring smooth integration throughout development processes.
Team Environment
You will be part of an international, fast-growing software development team spread across Belgium, Spain, Ukraine, and the US, developing robust, scalable solutions addressing complex supply chain challenges.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or related discipline.
- More than six years of hands-on experience in Azure DevOps practices.
- Proven commitment to creating high-quality software solutions and maintaining them responsibly.
- Practical expertise with Kubernetes, PowerShell or Bash scripting, Jenkins, Azure Pipelines or equivalent automation tools, and Git.
- Advanced familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.
Desirable Attributes
- Background in DevOps, ICT, or technical support roles.
- Customer support experience or relevant internships.
- Knowledge of Windows networking and Active Directory.
- Experience migrating applications to cloud environments.
- Programming experience.
