Senior DevOps Engineer

Role Overview

Adree is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to enhance product development and platform automation by designing, implementing, and managing reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure solutions that support efficient software delivery automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to determine platform requirements and digital transformation objectives.
• Create and present documentation showcasing CI/CD capabilities including agent pool management, environment setup, and designing enterprise-grade pipelines.
• Assist product and engineering teams by developing reusable pipeline templates and establishing secure shared libraries in Azure DevOps Server.
• Offer DevOps expertise throughout the product lifecycle by enforcing complex branching strategies, improving build runner efficiency, and managing Linux-based runner systems.
• Work alongside Security and QA teams to handle third-party libraries, integrate OpenText security tools like Fortify SCA, and embed automated testing frameworks.
• Stay informed on latest trends in containerization, automation workflows, and infrastructure delivery to implement effective solutions.
• Conduct workshops for internal teams and clients on GitOps delivery and managing workload deployment using Argo CD with OpenShift/Kubernetes.
• Participate in Agile development and release cycles by adding monitoring hooks and guiding production deployment patterns using tools such as AppDynamics, BMC, and Azure Monitoring.

Qualifications & Experience

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related technical discipline.
• Bring 6 to 10+ years of professional background in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, and enterprise build & release automation.
• Demonstrated experience managing production-grade environment scaling and delivery; experience in government or highly regulated sectors is advantageous.

Technical Skills & Competencies

• Expertise in CI/CD pipeline architecture, secure pipeline design, agent pool setup, and advanced branching methodologies.
• Proficient in container technologies and orchestration platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Red Hat OpenShift.
• Strong skills in infrastructure automation using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and configuration management tools like Ansible.
• Knowledgeable in Linux system administration and creating system scripts.
• Experience with enterprise artifact management tools including JFrog Artifactory and managing binary artifacts along with third-party libraries.
• Capable of implementing secure application pipelines integrating tools such as Fortify SCA, HashiCorp Vault for secrets management, and MFA solutions like Sigstore or SecurEnvoy.
