About the Role
Join OMP as a Senior DevOps Engineer and contribute to transforming supply chain planning with innovative software solutions. If you have a passion for advanced cloud technologies and enjoy balancing system stability with innovative challenges, this role offers you a chance to make a significant impact. You will collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, and ICT specialists to streamline deployment processes and provide critical development and QA tools worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and automate deployment pipelines ensuring smooth software delivery.
- Take ownership of projects throughout the software development life cycle including analysis, design, coding, and maintenance.
- Improve and manage continuous integration and production infrastructure components.
- Oversee release and build management as well as package management.
- Implement containerization and orchestration solutions.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve development lifecycle bottlenecks.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a related discipline.
- At least 6 years of professional experience with Azure DevOps and related technologies.
- Proven commitment to delivering high-quality solutions and managing their ongoing maintenance.
- Hands-on expertise in Kubernetes, PowerShell or Bash scripting, Jenkins, Azure Pipelines or equivalent automation platforms, and Git.
- Strong experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.
Additional Advantages
- Background in DevOps, ICT, or technical support roles.
- Experience in customer support or related internships.
- Knowledge of Windows networking and Active Directory.
- Experience involved in migration of applications to cloud environments.
- Programming skills are a plus.
