Senior Development Manager - Commercial Office

About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is looking for an accomplished Senior Development Manager to oversee the planning and execution of commercial office projects within its master development. This position calls for a strategic leader with extensive experience in commercial real estate development, responsible for guiding projects from initial concept through to final delivery while maintaining alignment with Qiddiya's strategic vision and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the entire development process of commercial office projects, encompassing planning, design, construction, and handover phases.
• Formulate and apply strategies that enhance project outcomes in terms of performance, profitability, and sustainability.
• Work closely with internal departments, external consultants, contractors, and relevant stakeholders to ensure development plans are executed effectively.
• Perform market research and feasibility analyses to support project decision-making and bolster commercial viability.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, risk assessments, and quality assurance across all stages.
• Ensure adherence to local laws, building codes, and sustainability standards.
• Provide frequent updates to senior leadership concerning progress milestones, financial status, and emerging risks or opportunities.
• Mentor and guide the development team to promote a collaborative and results-driven culture.
• Spot chances for innovation and optimize the value of Qiddiya’s commercial office portfolio.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Between 9 and 12 years of proven experience in commercial real estate development, with emphasis on office space projects.
• Proven success managing large-scale commercial office developments from start through completion.
• Strong financial expertise including budgeting, cost management, and feasibility analysis.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, multidisciplinary environment managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Preference given to candidates with knowledge of local regulatory frameworks and sustainability methodologies.
• Experience in the Middle East real estate market is advantageous.
