About the Role
We are partnering with a prominent international architectural firm exploring the launch of a new office located in Newcastle city centre. This unique position offers a Senior Design Manager the chance to join at the inception stage, significantly influencing the firm’s establishment and growth in the region.
Responsibilities
The role involves senior leadership responsibilities, including managing and guiding multiple projects and project teams simultaneously. It demands direct engagement with clients, consultants, and various project stakeholders across all stages of project delivery. Candidates should exhibit a strong command of design execution, construction processes, and contractual matters.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess deep experience working on medium to large-scale, complex projects, preferably within industrial, high-tech, or process-driven sectors. A minimum of 10 years’ experience within the UK construction industry is essential. While proficiency in Revit is advantageous, it is not compulsory. A background in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or Engineering is preferred.
