Senior Data Scientist

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Scientist to join the AI Center of Excellence, focusing on advancing machine learning and data science initiatives. This hands-on position demands strong analytical problem-solving skills and the capability to transform complex business challenges into actionable data science solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and assess models including regression and classification techniques.
• Manage the full data science pipeline: from data exploration and preparation to feature engineering, model creation, validation, and interpretation.
• Generate insights and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders using visualization tools.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams comprising data scientists, machine learning engineers, data engineers, and business partners to fast-track AI project delivery from concept to production.

Required Skills and Experience

• Advanced proficiency in applied machine learning, statistical modeling, and analytics.
• Expert-level command of SQL and Python for data manipulation and model development.
• Experience with predictive modeling, forecasting, classification, regression, experimentation frameworks, A/B testing, feature engineering, and evaluation methods.
• Hands-on familiarity with visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or equivalents to present model results and trends clearly.
• Knowledge of cloud-based data science tools and environments including Azure, Azure ML, Databricks, MLflow, and related technologies is advantageous.
• Practical experience addressing use cases like churn prediction, personalization, recommendation systems, marketing optimization, anomaly detection, and experimentation pipelines.
