Senior Data Scientist - Computer Vision & AI

Role Overview

As a Senior Data Scientist focused on deep learning at GoTo Financial, you will address complex challenges across computer vision, voice, and text analytics. Your role involves leading the creation and deployment of sophisticated AI algorithms that significantly influence our core business offerings. You will enhance current systems by integrating state-of-the-art deep learning models, ensuring scalability and production readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle diverse data types including images, videos, audio, and text.
• Design, train, fine-tune, and deploy deep learning models utilizing GPU resources.
• Create detailed unit testing and documentation; thoroughly evaluate and benchmark models for performance and quality assurance.
• Bridge communication between business stakeholders and engineering teams to gather, clarify, and implement project requirements.
• Take ownership of the entire solution lifecycle, from defining problem statements to deploying production models in collaboration with engineers.
• Keep abreast of cutting-edge developments in deep learning and AI technologies.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of three years' experience in deep learning areas, focusing on computer vision, voice, and text processing.
• Competent in data preprocessing, training, evaluating, and optimizing models.
• Proven ability to apply deep learning techniques successfully in business contexts with models deployed in live environments.
• Expertise with frameworks such as PyTorch; proficiency in Python, C++; and knowledge of inference engines like NCNN.
• Experience working with cloud infrastructures such as Google Cloud Platform or AWS; familiarity with Android/iOS development considered an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills for articulating business needs and delivering analytic solutions clearly.
• Ability to produce clear, concise technical documentation.
