Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Modeler with over 12 years of experience, specialized in crafting and deploying robust data warehouses and data marts engineered for optimal performance and scalability. The role emphasizes expertise in data modeling, analysis, and mapping within the banking sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and implement efficient, scalable data models tailored to support business intelligence and analytics applications.
• Develop and sustain data warehouses and marts ensuring their high performance and dependability.
• Conduct data analysis, data mapping, and reverse engineering on current systems to develop optimized data models.
• Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into precise logical and physical data models.
• Adhere strictly to data governance policies, standards, and industry best practices.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of data models and manage metadata repositories.

Required Skills and Expertise

• Proficient in SQL, particularly with SQL Server and Snowflake.
• Experienced with data modeling tools such as ERwin or similar alternatives.
• In-depth understanding of data warehousing principles, including performance optimization and normalization/denormalization techniques.
• Previous experience within the Banking domain or applying banking industry-standard data models.
• Excellent analytical abilities, communication skills, and problem-solving capability.
