Overview
Numerator, a global data and technology enterprise headquartered in Chicago, IL, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their team in Pune, India. Numerator leverages proprietary data and advanced technologies to deliver insightful market research solutions, serving many Fortune 100 companies worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
The role involves designing and maintaining scalable data engineering solutions using Pyspark and Python within the Azure cloud ecosystem. Candidates will actively participate in Agile workflows and contribute to DevOps pipelines, primarily using Azure DevOps.
Required Experience and Expertise
- Extensive 7-10 years background in data engineering roles.
- Strong proficiency in Pyspark and Python programming.
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure Cloud services.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks platform.
- Previous involvement in DevOps automation pipelines, especially Azure DevOps.
Preferred Qualifications
- Academic credentials including Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or related areas.
- Experience in roles focusing on support and maintenance.
- Understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning principles.
- Relevant certifications in Data Engineering or associated disciplines.
