Role Overview
Join a leading global investment fund in Singapore as a Senior Data Engineer specializing in Databricks and AWS. This position involves developing and enhancing large-scale investment data platforms that directly support investment professionals and technology teams across asset management, trading, investment operations, and risk functions.
Responsibilities
In this senior role, you will build enterprise-grade data platforms, focusing on data transformation, modeling, architecture, and analytics. You will play a key part in modernizing the organization's data infrastructure by leveraging modern technologies and ensuring the platforms meet high engineering standards.
Technology Environment
The technology stack includes Databricks, Python, PySpark, SparkSQL, SQL, DBT, Airflow, and AWS cloud-native services. The role also encompasses working with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and adopting modern DevOps methods to design scalable and reliable systems.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should possess approximately 8 or more years of hands-on experience in data engineering. The role demands strong technical skills as well as senior-level operational capabilities.
