Position Overview

In the role of Senior Cyber Underwriter, you will be responsible for the independent analysis, assessment, and underwriting of complex cyber risks. You will design customized and innovative insurance solutions tailored to meet the challenges of the continuously evolving cyber market.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analyses and evaluations of intricate cyber exposures and risks.
• Create bespoke insurance products that address current and emerging cyber threats.
• Confidently lead contract and pricing negotiations with brokers, major clients, and business partners.
• Continuously monitor important market trends and contribute your expert knowledge toward the strategic and product development of our Cyber portfolio.
• Collaborate closely with sales, IT, claims management, and external partners to ensure effective underwriting processes.
• Support the creation and training of underwriting guidelines and share your expertise with colleagues.

Candidate Profile

• Completed studies in law, economics, computer science, or IT security.
• Several years of experience as a Senior Underwriter specializing in cyber insurance.
• Strong actuarial knowledge and excellent analytical skills to evaluate and optimize IT security measures.
• Decisive with confidence in managing complex risks and experienced in negotiation techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, enabling the clear explanation of complex topics.
