Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Head of Information Security in carrying out cybersecurity strategies, crafting roadmaps, and enforcing policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments such as IT and Legal to ensure security plans align with organizational goals.
- Oversee and enhance security operations including bug bounty programs, vulnerability management, Privileged Access Management (PAM), Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), managed security services, phishing simulations, attack surface assessments, red teaming activities, tabletop drills, and security incident responses.
- Evaluate AWS and Azure cloud environments and integrate security practices like threat modeling, secure coding, static and software composition analysis, container image checks, and infrastructure-as-code scanning into CI/CD workflows.
- Lead initiatives focused on AI security assessments and proofs of concept, addressing aspects such as data protection, AI gateway controls, prompt and output filtering, agent and Managed Control Plane (MCP) security, governance frameworks, and automation enhancements.
- Manage vendors by conducting evaluations, overseeing proofs of concept, negotiating contracts and renewals, managing budgets, and ensuring cross-team program execution.
- Develop and enforce security policies and standards adhering to frameworks like ISO 27001 and NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF).
- Support compliance and audit efforts related to standards such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, SOX, and applicable data protection laws.
- Perform security risk assessments, formulate mitigation plans, and provide input on contracts from an information security perspective.
- Provide regular updates to leadership about security status, risks, and ongoing projects. Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of the security program.
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in cybersecurity with leadership roles in security operations, engineering, cloud security, application security, or DevSecOps.
- Strong hands-on technical skills in SIEM/SOC operations, incident response, vulnerability management, bug bounty management, CSPM/CNAPP tools, PAM, zero trust architectures, and cloud security for AWS and Azure, including container security and secure software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience in evaluating AI security risks, including data protection, prompt injection, AI gateways, agentic AI, Managed Control Plane (MCP), shadow AI risks, and governance. Experience in applying AI and automation to optimize security operations is a plus.
- Familiarity with risk management and compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, SOX, and privacy/data protection regulations.
- Excellent communication, team collaboration, project oversight, vendor relationship management, and leadership skills.
- Preferred certifications include CISSP, CCSP, AWS Certified Security, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, OSCP, GIAC, or CEH.
