Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned and analytical Senior Credit Risk Manager to spearhead credit risk frameworks, supervise portfolio risk dynamics, and aid strategic decisions organization-wide. This role offers a prime chance for professionals in credit risk, banking, financial analysis, or enterprise risk management to assume comprehensive leadership in an international fully remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute comprehensive credit risk policies and strategies across the enterprise.
- Conduct in-depth credit risk evaluations for customers, portfolios, and various business sectors.
- Track credit exposures, analyze portfolio performance, and identify risk patterns.
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Risk, Compliance, Sales, Legal, and Executive Leadership teams.
- Assess complex credit applications and advise on risk-based decisions.
- Perform financial statement analysis, cash flow evaluation, and creditworthiness assessment.
- Manage approval protocols and continuous monitoring of credit portfolios.
- Create credit risk modeling tools, reporting structures, and visual performance dashboards.
- Oversee credit risk performance indicators, monitor delinquency trends, and maintain portfolio quality.
- Detect high-risk accounts and organize risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to regulations, support audits, and reinforce governance frameworks.
- Promote enhancements in credit risk processes and systems.
- Prepare comprehensive executive summaries and strategic advisories for senior leaders.
- Advocate for strong risk governance and responsible lending culture.
- Keep up to date with credit risk laws, financial market developments, and industry best practices.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Banking, or related disciplines.
- A minimum of five years' experience in credit risk, banking, financial analytics, lending, or enterprise risk functions.
- Deep knowledge of credit risk evaluation methodologies and portfolio management.
- Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong communication skills with proven stakeholder engagement experience.
- Experience leading cross-departmental projects and strategic initiatives is advantageous.
- Proficient verbal and written English communication.
- Familiarity with Excel, Power BI, ERP software, or specialized risk management tools is beneficial.
- Knowledge of IFRS standards, Basel regulations, or credit scoring techniques adds value.
- Professional certifications like FRM, CFA, or CPA are welcomed but not mandatory.
