We are seeking a motivated professional with a demonstrated history of successfully driving project outcomes to join our Cyber Security team in Ontario and Atlantic Canada. This role places you in a forefront position to influence cybersecurity strategy and governance, helping organizations improve their security postures, address evolving risks, and enhance resilience within an increasingly digital landscape.

As a Senior Consultant, you will partner with clients from various sectors to conduct cyber maturity evaluations, develop governance frameworks, draft strategic plans, perform risk management activities, and support executive-level communications and training. This is a chance to create significant, high-impact change alongside seasoned experts, leveraging global best practices to deliver solutions that make a difference.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform cybersecurity maturity and risk assessments employing multiple frameworks and methodologies.
• Design and assess cybersecurity governance models, strategies, and operational frameworks.
• Develop and assist in the rollout of cybersecurity roadmaps aligned with business goals.
• Analyze cybersecurity-related expenditures to identify cost efficiencies.
• Evaluate the capabilities of cybersecurity teams and functions.
• Implement cybersecurity control frameworks and conduct rigorous control evaluations for design and operational effectiveness.
• Author customized cybersecurity policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Create cybersecurity metrics, benchmarking instruments, and executive dashboards.
• Provide advisory services to mitigate business and IT risks associated with cybersecurity.
• Communicate cybersecurity risk reports tailored to varied audiences.
• Facilitate cyber training sessions and awareness programs.
• Lead or participate in cybersecurity tabletop exercises to simulate incident response scenarios.
• Prepare and deliver presentations conveying insights and recommendations.
• Support business development efforts including preparing responses to RFPs and proposals.
• Develop cyber resilience plans to minimize operational disruptions in risk events.

Candidate Profile

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity projects or related activities.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field is preferred.
• Possession of an MBA or master’s degree is an asset.
• Active progress or certification in designations such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, CIA, or equivalent IT technical credentials as part of continuous professional development.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity standards including ISO 27001, ISO 27002, ISO 27005, ISO 19011, and NIST frameworks.
• Consulting experience or cross-industry exposure is advantageous.
• Understanding of various industry sectors and business environments.
• Self-motivated, able to manage priorities effectively in changing conditions.
• Quick learner capable of thriving in a fast-paced consulting environment.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and attention to detail capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Confident, enthusiastic, and driven with a strong client service orientation.
• Willingness and ability to travel regionally across Canada and internationally as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated base salary for this position ranges between $73,500 and $122,500 CAD annually. The exact compensation within this band will depend on factors such as the candidate's location, expertise, and qualifications. Additionally, the role may qualify for performance bonuses.
