Senior Construction Manager - Electrical

The development incorporates complex utility infrastructure and networks such as power, telecommunications, district cooling, water, and wastewater systems with associated treatment and distribution facilities. This role suits professionals experienced in large infrastructure programs and utility-intensive developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee construction delivery of electrical infrastructure and utility packages from mobilisation to handover.
• Manage contractors and subcontractors involved in utility, power, and infrastructure works.
• Track construction progress relative to schedule and implement recovery plans as needed.
• Ensure adherence to project specifications, quality standards, regulatory approvals, and industry codes.
• Coordinate interactions among utility providers, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Supervise testing, commissioning, and readiness for operations.
• Promote health, safety, and environmental standards across all work areas.
• Evaluate construction methodologies, temporary works proposals, and installation sequences.
• Assist with risk identification, mitigation, and resolve site issues.
• Prepare and deliver progress reports to senior leadership.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• Extensive experience in construction and infrastructure delivery.
• Background delivering various electrical infrastructures such as high-voltage and low-voltage power systems, wet and dry utility networks, sewage treatment plants, district cooling plants, and distribution networks.
• Solid understanding of health, safety, quality, and commissioning standards.
• Valid visa eligibility for Saudi Arabia and prior experience on high-value projects or programs within project management consultancy, required for immigration and client approval.
