Senior Cloud Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Cloud / DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure and practical experience in AWS. The role involves designing, automating, and managing secure and scalable cloud platforms in a multi-cloud setup.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, deploy, and maintain infrastructure on Azure, with additional responsibilities supporting AWS environments.
• Author Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Terragrunt to ensure infrastructure consistency and reproducibility.
• Manage container orchestration platforms leveraging Docker and Kubernetes to support application deployments.
• Develop and operate CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitOps methodologies for streamlined delivery.
• Automate deployment and provisioning tasks through scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, Bash, along with Ansible.
• Oversee cloud platform security, monitor system performance, and handle fault diagnosis ensuring resilience and operational excellence.

Required Expertise

• Proficient hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Deep knowledge of Azure DevOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment processes.
• Solid familiarity with AWS cloud ecosystems.
• Strong Terraform and Terragrunt skills for infrastructure automation.
• Expertise in container technologies including Kubernetes and Docker.
• Programming and scripting expertise in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Experience using configuration management and DevOps tools such as Ansible, Git, and GitOps.
• Comprehensive understanding of cloud security principles, networking concepts, and monitoring systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS CloudFormation and AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions like Splunk, DataDog, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Knowledge of databases including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB.
• Understanding of REST API design and microservices architecture.
