Job description

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and fully qualified Cabinetmaker to join our established team at Bespoke Kitchens in Adelaide, South Australia. This role involves a diverse range of hands-on tasks covering both manufacturing in the factory and installing quality custom kitchens and joinery onsite. This is not a routine position; it requires a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in their craft, is capable of overseeing jobs, and can lead a small team effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manufacture and assemble custom cabinetry to high standards.
  • Accurately read and interpret detailed plans and specifications.
  • Operate modern cabinetmaking machinery including advanced CNC and automated equipment.
  • Maintain quality control throughout production and installation stages.
  • Perform on-site installation and fit-off of cabinetry.
  • Organize workflow, allocating tasks and providing guidance to the factory team.
  • Lead and support a small team to ensure jobs complete efficiently and meet quality expectations.

Candidate Profile

  • Hold full cabinetmaking qualification with solid hands-on industry experience.
  • Confident in working independently and taking initiative.
  • Ability to lead, organize, and motivate a small team.
  • Strong pride in workmanship with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Reliable, well-organized, and efficient in task management.
  • Comfortable alternating between factory and on-site work environments.
  • Possess a current driver's licence.
  • Australian citizen or permanent resident with unrestricted work rights.

Additional Skills

Experience with Cabinet Vision or similar cabinetmaking software is advantageous but not mandatory. Proficiency with CNC machinery and modern automated cabinetmaking tools is highly regarded.
