Overview
Join Hilton as a Purchase Manager, a vital role where you will craft and implement purchasing strategies that ensure a steady, cost-effective supply chain. Beyond managing procurement, you will contribute to creating unforgettable guest experiences by embodying hospitality’s warmth and brightness.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all purchasing activities and inventory control to maintain necessary stock levels of general merchandise.
- Collaborate closely with chefs and hotel management to tailor purchases to hotel specifications and needs.
- Negotiate and maintain vendor relationships to secure competitive prices and timely deliveries.
- Perform quality inspections on incoming orders to verify compliance with order details and quality benchmarks.
- Lead, develop, and motivate your procurement team by monitoring performance, offering coaching, and nurturing a constructive workplace culture.
- Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain, such as disruptions, price variability, and compliance issues.
- Analyze market trends thoroughly to forecast price changes and supply conditions, enabling informed purchasing decisions.
Qualifications and Requirements

- Educational background with a diploma or degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality, or related disciplines.
- At least five years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably within a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Proven expertise in sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier contracts to optimize quality and cost-efficiency.
- Strong proficiency in inventory management, stock control, and procurement software systems.
- Experience handling budgeting, cost analysis, and evaluating purchasing performance metrics.
- Knowledge of local procurement laws, health and safety regulations, and sustainability practices.
- Highly organized with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving environment requiring adaptability.
- Ensure all procurement practices adhere strictly to relevant laws, regulations, company policies, and uphold Hilton’s ethical standards.
