About the Role
Join BlackLine as a Senior Business Development Representative (BDR) and be pivotal to driving our growth in Australia and New Zealand. This role involves initiating and managing early-stage discussions with senior finance executives across strategic accounts, contributing significantly to our go-to-market (GTM) efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead outbound prospecting efforts across a select portfolio of enterprise accounts by leveraging channels such as phone calls, emails, LinkedIn, and strategic campaigns.
- Engage with senior finance leaders including CFOs, CIOs, Financial Controllers, and Heads of Shared Services, utilizing commercial insight and thorough research to drive conversations.
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives on territory strategy, prioritizing accounts, pipeline forecasting, and ensuring smooth deal progression.
- Incorporate external market signals like earnings announcements, media reports, investor updates, and hiring trends into timely, targeted outreach messaging.
- Work effectively with a sophisticated sales toolkit comprising Salesforce, Gong Engage, Orum, 6sense, Highspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lusha, ZoomInfo, and Gemini Enterprise.

- Exemplify excellent written and verbal communication skills, adept at converting research insights into compelling sales outreach.
- Maintain exceptional self-organization and CRM data hygiene, balancing extensive outreach with detailed account research.
