Senior Business Development Executive

Responsibilities

• Seek out and capitalize on new business opportunities within the facilities management industry.
• Perform thorough market analysis covering competitors, pricing dynamics, customer interests, and sector trends.
• Contribute to developing and accurately tracking the sales pipeline and ongoing business pursuits.
• Help prepare detailed business cases, financial models, and commercially viable proposals.
• Participate actively in client interactions including meetings, presentations, and site visits to bolster business development initiatives.
• Lead or assist in proposal tendering processes encompassing documentation, technical input, compliance verification, and coordination of submissions.
• Work in partnership with teams such as operations, engineering, procurement and finance to assemble competitive, client-tailored proposals.
• Create and polish tailored bid documents ensuring high-quality, persuasive submissions through strong editing and proofreading.
• Guarantee timely tender submissions adhering strictly to internal governance and approval standards.
• Collaborate closely with headquarters, facilities management operations, and engineering teams to assess operational capabilities and service strengths.
• Support the innovation and introduction of enhanced service offerings, including energy optimization, sustainability initiatives, remote support, and facility inspections.
• Develop and maintain robust internal and external networks within the facilities management market to remain abreast of industry movements and competitor strategies.

Requirements

• A degree in Business, Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in business development, sales support, or bid management in a facilities operations context is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of engaging effectively with varied stakeholders.
• A strong commitment to workplace safety and consistent adherence to workplace safety and health (WSH) practices.
