Job description
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Bid Manager specializing in ICT and Digital Transformation based in Abu Dhabi. This role involves leading complex tender processes end-to-end, from the initial qualification stage to submission, including clarifications, negotiations, and final handover. The ideal candidate will manage diverse and challenging bids involving RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, formal tenders, BoQs, compliance matrices, and coordination of commercial proposals alongside vendor and multidisciplinary technical contributions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coordinate, and manage the entire bid lifecycle across complex ICT and digital transformation tenders.
- Collaborate closely with various internal departments such as sales, presales, solution architects, technical teams, finance, legal, procurement, as well as external vendors and partners to develop superior, compliant, and commercially competitive proposals.
- Prepare high-quality proposal documents ensuring full compliance with tender requirements and internal standards.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in IT/ICT bid management, presales, proposal management, or solution development roles.
- Solid expertise in complex ICT solutions encompassing infrastructure, cloud technologies, networking, cybersecurity, applications, data management, integration, and managed services.
- Proven capability in managing official tender processes and coordinating multiple stakeholder contributions.
- Strong proficiency in proposal writing and communication in both English and Arabic.
- Experience utilizing AI-powered tools for tasks such as document analysis, drafting, tracking of compliance, and knowledge management, coupled with the discretion to verify and finalize documents.
- Ability to identify and manage risks, assumptions, dependencies, exclusions, and maintain high standards for the quality of submissions.
