About the Role
We are seeking a Senior BI Consultant to play a pivotal role in delivering complete data and analytics solutions that empower stakeholders ranging from executive leaders to owner-operators. As part of the Data & Analytics team within Digital Services, and reporting to the Data Platform Lead, you will engage hands-on across the full data lifecycle — including data engineering, data warehouse development, and visualization. Your work will focus on building scalable, contemporary analytics solutions while supporting the continued advancement of cloud and SAP-based data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and manage data warehouse and analytics solution architectures.
- Create and optimize data pipelines and transformation workflows to ensure reliable, scalable analytics delivery.
- Engage directly with stakeholders to collect requirements and transform these into actionable data solutions.
- Support the evolution of data architecture, and help enforce data governance and quality practices.
Who You Are
You are a highly skilled BI professional with experience in data modeling, data engineering, and reporting functions. Your strength lies in translating business needs into insightful analysis and working collaboratively with stakeholders to improve decision making. Preferred qualifications include:
- Demonstrated experience in data modeling and ETL/ELT development processes.
- Proficient in designing and deploying BI solutions.
- Experience with BI tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or comparable platforms.
- Familiarity with SAP BW, and working knowledge of SAP ECC or S/4HANA data sources.
- Strong skills in SQL, Python, or other data manipulation languages.
- Understanding of SAP Datasphere technology.
We value diverse backgrounds and encourage applications even if every criterion is not met, focusing on candidates with the motivation and capability to succeed.
Why Join Our Team
- Flexible work approach that empowers employees to balance working hours and personal life effectively.
- Commitment to equitable workplace outcomes including extra paid parental leave, free menstrual products, and financial wellness checks.
- Health and wellness benefits including Southern Cross health insurance for employees and their families (post-qualifying), gym discounts, online wellbeing resources, and onsite prayer and privacy rooms.
- Opportunities for ongoing professional development with access to extensive online learning libraries.
- Supportive team culture featuring fun activities such as Furry Friend Fridays and social monthly events.
- Inclusive environment as a certified Pride Pledge organization, celebrating diversity as a key strength.
- Modern office location in Papanui with free onsite parking and an in-house café.
