Role Overview
The Senior Banking Consultant position involves direct customer service, engaging in needs-based conversations focused especially on guiding customers through the property buying process, primarily the Home Buyers Journey. This role includes mentoring and supporting junior staff dealing with more complex client requirements.
The role is permanent with a 40-hour work week based at Cranbourne Park Shopping Centre, Victoria. It may require working on rostered Saturdays in line with branch hours and customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Act as a proactive promoter and user of ANZ products.
- Provide strong support to the Branch Manager in executing retail strategy and daily operations.
- Address customer requirements by offering ANZ home loans, insurance, investment products, and transactional services.
- Maintain thorough risk-related knowledge of customers.
- Deliver outstanding customer experience using a customer-focused, relationship-centered approach that prioritizes the full spectrum of financial needs.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in building solid customer relationships.
- Relevant background in financial services, particularly retail banking.
- Strong communication and interpersonal capabilities.
- Leadership qualities and ability to coach others.
- Proficient and enthusiastic user of technology.
- Adaptability and ability to multitask effectively amidst change and uncertainty.
