Key Responsibilities
- Establish trust and credibility by understanding individual stakeholder expectations and service requirements.
- Deliver high-standard audit services by considering regulatory and risk implications on business processes and controls.
- Gain thorough knowledge of industry statistics and entity-specific matters prior to engagement commencement.
- Customize referral instructions to clearly define audit scope and focus areas.
- Comprehend group audit structure and intended recipients of referral instructions.
- Coordinate effectively with both local and offshore Centers of Excellence, maintaining clarity on delegated tasks and ensuring accurate, complete information transmission.
- Monitor and manage deliverables from component auditors, understanding their significance.
- Integrate audit risks, controls, procedures, and findings cohesively and promptly across documentation files.
- Articulate audit quality milestones, their evidence of completion, and contributions to overall audit quality.
- Critically assess audit plan timing and advocate for earlier execution of tasks where feasible.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation anticipating reviewers’ inquiries, distinguishing accounting from audit judgements.
- Develop relationships beyond finance teams to better grasp business operations and maintain professional skepticism.
- Maintain awareness of risks related to the engagement lifecycle, regulatory frameworks, and applicable protection policies.
- Apply artificial intelligence technology to enhance audit efficiency and quality, including prompt engineering and structured problem-solving techniques.
- Exercise critical evaluation of AI-generated outputs, ensuring validity before incorporation into audit workpapers.
- Comply with responsible AI usage guidelines in professional services, including data confidentiality, governance, and approved tools usage.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
- More than 4 years of experience in public audit and accounting, ideally with large international firms.
- Possession of internationally recognized accounting qualifications such as SOCPA, CA, ACCA, or CPA is preferred.
- Fluency in English for reading, writing, and speaking; bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English is an advantage.
