About the Role
Join eBay, a global leader transforming ecommerce across more than 190 markets. As a Senior Auditor within the Internal Audit team located in Dublin, Ireland, you will focus on operational audits that help improve controls and mitigate risks. This hybrid position requires a minimum of three days in-office attendance weekly.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive operational audit programs incorporating control design and operational effectiveness assessments, adhering to Internal Audit methodologies.
- Detect control deficiencies, process inefficiencies, and business risks, translating them into clear, actionable audit issues and recommendations.
- Prepare thorough audit documentation and support the creation of precise and impactful reports detailing audit findings.
- Oversee issue management including follow-up validations and ensuring timely remediation of audit findings.
- Drive continuous enhancements to audit processes to increase efficiency and deliver greater value to the organization.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
- Bring a minimum of four years’ experience in internal audit execution, preferably within a third-line function, with experience extending beyond SOX-related testing to comprehensive risk-based audit plans.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills alongside effective verbal and written communication abilities for articulating issues and findings.
- Experience utilizing data analytics tools and techniques throughout audit cycles including SQL coding for data validation and testing.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, or CISA are advantageous.
- Capability to juggle multiple priorities efficiently in a dynamic environment.
- Exhibit a proactive, goal-oriented, and collaborative approach, emphasizing precision, accountability, and quality.
- High level of attention to detail with commitment to accuracy.
