About the Role
Our client, a major multinational headquartered in Ireland with diverse international operations and a focus on innovation and sustainability, is looking to hire an FP&A Analyst based in Dublin North. This pivotal role within the Group FP&A team at their headquarters offers a broad range of responsibilities beyond traditional financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, Board and Executive reporting, data analytics, strategic project involvement, investment analysis, and mergers & acquisitions support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the Group’s budgeting, roadmapping, and quarterly forecasting processes by analyzing critical business metrics and trends.
- Collaborate with divisional finance teams to evaluate financial performance, uncover trends, and deliver actionable commercial insights.
- Work closely with various Group functions, such as IT, to support planning, month-end close activities, and ongoing performance management.
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly Executive and Board-level financial presentations to aid senior decision-making.
- Enhance management reporting through automation, data analytics, and visualization tools to better reveal the drivers of Group performance.
- Support cashflow forecasting, headcount reporting, and benchmarking to improve forecasting accuracy.
- Participate in strategic initiatives including M&A activities, preparing business cases, capital investment proposals, and performing competitor, industry, and economic analyses.
- Track and ensure follow-up on corrective actions arising from financial analysis.
Candidate Profile
- Qualified accountant designation such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in finance roles, with FP&A experience being a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical capability to interpret complex data and provide insightful recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to engage and partner with stakeholders across multiple business areas.
- Familiarity with financial and data tools such as Cognos, SAP, Power BI, and other financial planning or data analytics solutions is desirable.
- Flexible and team-oriented mindset with the aptitude to manage several competing priorities in a dynamic work setting.

Salary & Benefits: The position offers a competitive salary of €85,000 plus excellent additional benefits.
