Job Overview
The Assistant Store Manager role involves aiding the Store Manager in overseeing daily store functions to maximize sales and profitability. This includes managing staff development, controlling expenses and inventory shrinkage, and ensuring adherence to merchandising and inventory control policies in line with corporate standards.
Compensation and Benefits
The position offers an hourly wage ranging from 21.60 to 21.85 CAD, dependent on qualifications and experience. All incentives are subject to meeting specific qualifications and eligibility criteria.
Work Requirements and Schedule
This role requires commitment for up to 38 hours weekly. Physical demands include prolonged standing and walking, ladder climbing, and lifting weights up to 50 pounds. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have previous retail or management experience.
