Opportunity Overview
We are seeking a Senior Asset Manager to lead critical asset management projects nationwide. Choose to work at our offices in Christchurch, Whakatāne, Tauranga, Hamilton, or Waihi.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and technical leadership throughout the full asset lifecycle for civil infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with clients including local authorities, government bodies, and private sector partners to develop practical and commercially viable asset management solutions.
- Lead the creation and execution of strategic asset management plans and long-term lifecycle strategies.
- Forge and maintain strong relationships with local government, Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency, and other key stakeholders.
- Conduct asset performance assessments, condition evaluations, and risk-based decision-making processes.
- Identify opportunities to enhance asset performance, optimize whole-of-life costs, and improve service delivery.
Candidate Requirements
- 10–15 years’ experience in civil engineering.
- Minimum 5 years committed experience in asset management.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering asset management services on New Zealand civil infrastructure projects.
- A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Thorough understanding of New Zealand asset management frameworks, lifecycle planning, and infrastructure management methodologies.
- Experience using RAMM, Juno Viewer, or comparable asset management systems.
