Senior Architect

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Architect to lead the architectural design and management of large-scale projects, with a preference for local high-rise residential developments. This role requires strong capabilities in construction detailing, design development, and effective coordination with consultants and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design processes and manage projects from inception through completion, focusing on large-scale developments.
• Possess deep knowledge of construction details and take charge of design development phases.
• Coordinate and lead project teams including consultants and contractors effectively.
• Supervise on-site progress and efficiently handle any issues arising during construction.
• Ensure all designs comply fully with local building codes and regulations.
• Mentor and guide junior team members to foster growth and uphold quality.
• Maintain high standards of design quality and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare comprehensive tender documents, including schedules and specifications for materials.

Candidate Requirements

• Holds a recognized degree in Architecture, preferably registered with the Board of Architects, Singapore.
• Registered BOA Architect with a minimum of 8 years of industry experience.
• Alternatively, registrable architects possessing at least 5 years of experience are encouraged to apply.
• Experience working on BIM (Building Information Modeling) projects is necessary.
• Strong understanding of architectural detailing, working drawings, and construction methods.
• Well-versed in local building regulations and codes.
• Familiarity with Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract (PSSCOC) is required.
• Excellent leadership abilities and strong communication skills are essential.
