Senior Architect

Role Overview

The Senior Architect position is a full-time, on-site role based in Jeddah, with additional opportunities potentially in Beirut and Cairo. This leadership role encompasses guiding architectural design activities from initial concept stages through to comprehensive detailed designs, while maintaining a strong focus on technical excellence and visual quality across diverse projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design efforts including preparation and critical review of drawings, specifications, and presentations.
• Ensure architectural integrity and aesthetic standards are met throughout multiple project engagements.
• Collaborate closely with structural engineers, MEP consultants, and other stakeholders to integrate design solutions effectively.
• Manage compliance with regional codes, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
• Mentor junior architects and provide technical support and guidance within project teams.
• Participate actively in meetings with clients and stakeholders to clarify objectives, resolve issues and present design progress.
• Assist project management by supporting adherence to timelines, deliverables, and maintaining thorough documentation.

Professional Qualifications and Skills

• Solid foundation in architecture and architectural design, proven by successfully leading complex building projects.
• Familiarity with software development and digital integration relevant to BIM, CAD tools, and collaborative digital platforms.
• Proficiency with industry-leading design and documentation software such as Revit, AutoCAD, BIM software suites, and 3D visualization tools.
• Academic credentials including a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution; professional registration or eligibility preferred.
• Knowledge of GCC building codes and local permitting procedures.
• Competence in mentoring junior professionals and facilitating cross-disciplinary coordination.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities for effective client and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience in international design projects, especially involving high-rise, institutional, hospitality, or healthcare sectors, is advantageous.
• Fluency in English required; Arabic language skills considered beneficial but not mandatory.
