Role Overview

We seek a highly skilled and motivated Senior Architect to spearhead the design and execution of data center and mission-critical projects. The role involves guiding projects from initial concepts through construction, collaborating with diverse stakeholders to develop innovative, efficient, and technically sound facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and project development for data centers from inception to construction completion.
• Create site plans, building massing, and spatial layouts focusing on operational efficiency, cooling, and maintenance accessibility.
• Prepare, review, and manage architectural drawings, specifications, design presentations, construction documentation, and permits.
• Deliver feasibility analyses, design proposals, and technical presentations to clients and stakeholders.
• Promote sustainable and advanced industry-leading design methodologies.
• Coordinate architectural elements with MEP, structural, civil, and fire protection systems for smooth project execution.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, project managers, contractors, and internal teams to establish objectives and ensure quality outcomes.
• Oversee project deadlines, resources, budgets, and milestones, assuring design excellence.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning laws, safety standards, and data center industry requirements such as UBBL, BOMBA, NFPA, FM Global, and Uptime Institute Tiers.
• Support construction through site visits and architectural guidance to maintain design integrity.
• Mentor and supervise junior architects and designers while staying updated on emerging architectural technologies and trends.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture, accredited by ARB, RIBA, or equivalent international bodies.
• Preferred Part III qualification or full professional registration (ARB, RIBA, AIA, or equivalent), with consideration for candidates pursuing registration.
• Singapore Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.
• At least 8 years of post-qualification architectural experience, particularly in data centers, mission-critical infrastructure, or large-scale commercial/industrial projects.
• Mandatory background in architectural or engineering design consultancy roles.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing complex architectural projects.
• Proficiency in producing comprehensive design and construction documentation within BIM environments.

Technical Skills

• Advanced skills in Revit/BIM and AutoCAD are required; experience with Navisworks or similar BIM coordination software is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of building codes, planning regulations, fire safety standards, and technical design norms.
• Knowledge of data center standards such as Uptime Institute Tier levels and EN 50600 is beneficial.

• Effective presentation and interpersonal skills to engage with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams confidently.
• Keen attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities managing various priorities.
• Proven ability to function well within multidisciplinary teams in dynamic project environments.
