Senior Applications Analyst (FI/CO)

Overview

This role involves supporting critical business functions by delivering expert IT technical knowledge to uphold and enhance the applications support framework, ensuring all support requests are addressed promptly and according to set standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and troubleshoot operational issues and support requests collaboratively with team members and stakeholders, identifying root causes and exploring effective resolutions.
• Resolve support requests through system modifications, data manipulation, reconfiguration, user training, documentation creation, or escalation to the development team or software vendors.
• Track progress on support requests, keeping users and stakeholders informed and proactively mitigating delays.
• Independently perform moderately complex software changes or collaboratively handle more extensive modifications; define user interface requirements including inputs, validation, processing rules, security, and audit controls.
• Manage routine configurations, installations, and reconfigurations of Business Applications, Database Management Systems, and associated technologies.
• Work alongside colleagues and stakeholders to define data elements and information flow aligned with business needs.
• Lead medium-scale projects, participating fully across project phases; identify, evaluate, and manage potential risks and challenges to project success.
• Develop and maintain accurate project timelines and quality plans, regularly updating relevant parties on progress.
• Ensure adherence to information security policies and applicable regulatory requirements through assessment and compliance checks.
• Maintain thorough documentation and ensure all activities abide by internal standards, policies, and procedures.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, or information systems.

Experience and Knowledge: Minimum eight years of IT experience with demonstrated business acumen in areas such as HR, Logistics, Finance, Basis, and GRC. Strong familiarity with core application skills, relevant national and international IT standards, and extensive project management experience is required. The candidate will have expertise in IT support environments and understand business processes beyond standard SAP functions, possessing cross-functional knowledge in Finance, HR, Basis, GRC, and Logistics. Deep understanding of IT infrastructure lifecycle and IT security standards is essential.

Technical and Analytical Skills: Ability to propose quality solutions to technical problems, conduct thorough business requirements analyses, and deliver consistent and accurate recommendations. Proficient in both written and spoken English with excellent communication skills. Robust project management abilities combined with advanced problem-solving aptitude. Compliant with risk, security, and business continuity management principles.
