Key Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy secure application frameworks emphasizing authentication, authorization, data security, and vulnerability control.
• Create and uphold secure coding protocols and standards.
• Conduct thorough architectural and security requirement assessments to detect and mitigate risks from new features, products, or fixes.
• Implement security measures and counteractions to address identified vulnerabilities.
• Carry out routine security audits and penetration tests.
• Ensure adherence to security standards and regulations like OWASP.
• Stay abreast of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security incidents in the industry.
• Lead preliminary research to deeply understand business-specific products and perform security technology investigations.
• Develop foundational approaches for risk detection tailored to various products and security solutions.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders concerning security risks and improvement recommendations.
• Mentor and guide teams in security practices and secure coding methodologies.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science or closely related field.
• Minimum of 6 years in application security or software development; preference for candidates with over 10 years' experience.
• Deep understanding and practical application of software development processes and SDLC.
• Proficiency in mainstream web application technologies; preference for experience with Java tech stack.
• Expertise in addressing OWASP Top 10 security risks.
• Hands-on experience implementing common security solutions technically.
• Familiarity with penetration and security testing techniques.
• Experience using static security analysis tools, along with problem diagnosis and resolution skills.
• Understanding of mobile and web security fundamentals.
• Comprehensive knowledge of application security vulnerabilities and capacity to design solutions based on industry best practices.
• Knowledge of threat modeling and attack surface analysis, with practical experience preferred.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin to facilitate collaboration with international partners and stakeholders.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
