Role Overview
We seek a Senior Android Developer skilled in Kotlin and Java to design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance Android applications. Responsibilities include owning features through the entire development lifecycle, contributing to application architecture and standards, writing clean and testable code, and collaborating closely with cross-disciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and sustain Android apps using Kotlin and Java.
- Manage feature development from design to production release.
- Drive application architecture decisions and uphold coding standards.
- Write maintainable, testable code and participate in thorough code reviews.
- Work alongside Product, Design, QA, and Backend teams to craft user-centered solutions.
- Identify and fix performance, stability, and bug issues.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Extensive experience developing Android applications with Kotlin and Java.
- Strong proficiency with the Android SDK and modern development frameworks.
- Expertise with Jetpack components including ViewModel, Room, LiveData, and Navigation.
- Experience implementing MVVM and Clean Architecture patterns.
- Solid knowledge of application security, secure coding, and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with unit testing, code quality tools, and CI/CD workflows is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication abilities.
Preferred Experience
- Background in building enterprise-level or large-scale mobile applications.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in collaborative development environments.
Additional Information
This role is suited to candidates with at least 5 years of professional experience. The work mode is hybrid, with onsite presence at the client’s office.
