Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Android Developer to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about mobile development, knowledgeable about Android platforms, and experienced in creating high-quality applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain sophisticated Android apps compatible with different devices.
- Collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams including product managers, designers, and backend engineers to develop new features.
- Ensure applications deliver excellent performance, responsiveness, and high quality.
- Detect, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and performance-related issues.
- Optimize application efficiency and scalability.
- Explore and integrate emerging technologies to enhance development productivity.
- Participate in defining software architecture and launch new app features and services.
- Produce clean, well-structured, and maintainable code adhering to industry standards.
- Conduct code reviews and foster a collaborative environment to uphold coding excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related areas, or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrable experience developing Android applications, with a solid portfolio available on the Google Play Store.
- Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java programming languages.
- In-depth knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, and the Android ecosystem.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs for backend connectivity.
- Knowledge of third-party libraries and APIs integration.
- Strong grasp of UI/UX principles and adherence to Android design guidelines.
- Capability to debug and troubleshoot Android application issues effectively.
- Competence with Git version control and collaborative workflows.
- Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks such as Espresso and JUnit.
- Understanding of Agile development processes and version control systems.
