About the Role
We are collaborating with a firm in the securities and commodity exchange sector seeking a Senior Trading Control Analyst to perform thorough analytical and operational duties to oversee and refine trading control procedures. This role aims to ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, uphold market integrity, and enhance risk management processes through detailed evaluations.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere strictly to departmental protocols, policies, SOPs, and guidelines to guarantee consistent and controlled execution of tasks.
- Manage daily trading control activities including preparing trading sessions and ensuring maker-checker operational readiness.
- Detect and investigate discrepancies or unusual transactions in trading, escalate issues appropriately, document findings, and resolve problems promptly to limit operational disruptions.
- Oversee trading operations such as new listings, trade amendments, and index updates ensuring compliance with Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) and Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) regulations, maintaining detailed audit trails that support market transparency and accountability.
- Assist in the onboarding of new brokerage firms by preparing required documentation and aiding integration with trading platforms.
- Provide operational insights and suggestions to aid the development of new financial products and services.
- Lead testing phases and roll-out initiatives aimed at enhancing trading system performance and streamlining operational processes to uphold service excellence.
Additional Details
This position requires working on-site in Abu Dhabi and does not offer remote work options.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant brings a minimum of six years' experience in the securities or stock exchange industry or a related field. Having FRM and CFA certifications is advantageous.
