Product Owner - Generative AI

Role Overview

This role involves full ownership of the Generative AI (GenAI) product backlog, ensuring that priorities align perfectly with stakeholder needs and are converted into actionable, testable requirements for the engineering teams. The Product Owner is responsible for launching stable and fully validated AI products, coordinating efficiently among various stakeholders, and tracking milestones, risks, and dependencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize the GenAI product backlog based on stakeholder input.
• Ensure all product releases are thoroughly tested and validated before deployment.
• Collaborate across business, technology, and vendor teams to monitor delivery milestones and address risks.
• Analyze post-launch metrics including usage, performance, and user feedback to drive adoption.

Candidate Profile

• More than 6 years of experience in product management, technology delivery, business analysis, or digital transformation.
• Experience in banking or financial services is considered advantageous.
• A relevant university degree such as in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or Engineering.
• A strong grasp of agile methodologies, including backlog management, authoring user stories, and sprint planning; having CSPO certification is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Proven track record of delivering Generative AI products rather than just theoretical knowledge.
• Effective communication and comfort working with executives, engineers, and external vendors.

Additional Information

Position located in UAE (Abu Dhabi Emirate) with relocation support offered. The salary ranges between AED 35,000 to 40,000 monthly plus a bonus.
