Senior Analyst, Google Threat Intelligence, Mandiant

Role Overview

Google is looking for a Senior Analyst to join its Threat Intelligence team at Mandiant, operating remotely from Singapore. This role involves leveraging cyber threat intelligence (CTI) to support monitoring, detection, and response efforts against advanced cyber threats. Candidates with existing work rights in Singapore are preferred, with potential requirements for CAT2A security clearance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess tools and best practices for tracking sophisticated threats, including attacker motivations and industry patterns.
• Conduct strategic, tactical, and operational research and analysis concerning adversarial cyber threats.
• Integrate various intelligence sources to deepen the understanding of threat activities under observation.
• Communicate tactical and strategic intelligence on threat actors, including their methods and motivations, tailored for diverse audiences.
• Collaborate with clients to ascertain their intelligence needs and deliver presentations and reports to executives, security teams, and analyst peers.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of five years’ experience in data analytics, cybersecurity, technology research, anti-abuse, policy, or related sectors.
• Expertise in consumption, processing, and analysis of Cyber Threat Intelligence within active operational environments.

Preferred Experience

• At least eight years of experience in fields such as data analytics, cybersecurity, anti-abuse, or policy research.
• Proven ability to navigate complex public sector procedures and regulatory frameworks.
• Hands-on experience analyzing network, endpoint, and security log telemetry for investigation and threat hunting.
• Skilled in engaging both technical teams and executive leadership through verbal and written communications.
• Deep knowledge of CTI methodologies and practical applications in cybersecurity organizations.
