Role Overview

The Senior AMS Design Verification Engineer will join the Custom Silicon Solutions (CSS) Group to help develop cutting-edge portable consumer products. This group drives market leadership through advanced sensing and signal processing technologies including Capacitive Sensing, Optical Image Stabilization, Audio, Laser Driving, Power, and Optical sensing. The role offers a chance for professional growth within a collaborative and highly motivated team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate as a key member in mixed-signal verification across multidisciplinary teams involving Digital, Analog, Design Verification, Implementation, and Layout, collaborating with multiple sites.
  • Enhance verification strategies and methodologies continuously.
  • Interpret device requirements and prepare thorough, traceable AMS verification plans.
  • Create or code SystemVerilog Register and Network Model (SVRNM) models for analog components, validating these against schematics.
  • Develop both directed tests in AMS environments and reuse constrained random UVM test cases.
  • Report, track, and manage bug resolution through Jira.
  • Document verification outcomes and present findings to the team for review.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or related discipline with over 5 years of experience in chip-level AMS verification for SoCs.
  • Knowledge of contemporary digital verification methodologies, including Digital Mixed Signal (DMS) verification using UVM.
  • Proficiency with Cadence design tools—creating schematics and simulation/netlist options.
  • Experience using mixed-signal simulators such as Cadence AMS or equivalent platforms.
  • Familiarity with behavioral modeling coding for analog blocks using SVRNM or Verilog-AMS.
  • Strong programming abilities including object-oriented approaches and thorough documentation practices.
  • Experience with scripting languages like Python, C, Perl is advantageous.
  • Capable of teamwork with solid analytical and debugging skills.
  • The role involves about 10% travel.
